Legislative Education Budget Committee: More cuts to education, shorten school year

Posted in today’s Salt Lake Tribune 17.6 percent is the recommended cut to Utah’s education budget for the 2009-2010 school year by the Legislative Education Budget Committee. An education budget committee recommended Thursday that if the state has to significantly cut education dollars for next school year, districts be allowed to make up the difference [...]
